Song premiere, CM Brewer, "Static"

Hear it here first, before it arrives at streaming services

Here is a song that I first started writing on an entry-level MacBook in 2009. Over the years, bits and pieces have changed but the core acoustic guitar-driven framework and most of the lyrics remained the same. In retrospect, perhaps it was a fairly good indicator of the struggle I was having in my early 20s with undiagnosed autism, and the ongoing nature of that struggle almost mandated that I could not finish the track until my recent diagnosis and the clarity and closure it has given me. So, here is the end result of what, 16 years of work? LMAO. The first “official” finished track I’ll be sending off to distribution as CM Brewer, entitled “Static.”
